BRUSSELS SPROUTS! A lot of people don't like them because they can have a bitter taste. My little brother named them Martian Heads. If you want to try them again I believe you'll like them this way. Your kids may even want to try devouring Martian Heads and think that it's fun!
You will need:
1 bag of frozen Brussels Sprouts
2 Tbs. Coconut oil
1 Tbs. Butter
2 tsp. Everglades Seasoning (It's on Amazon) or Seasoning Salt
1 Tbs. Sugar or Splenda
Thaw the brussels sprouts and cut them in half from the top of the head to the stem. Heat the coconut oil and butter in a large frying pan and lay the sprouts cut side down in the pan. Don't pile them on each other. Lightly sprinkle the sugar/Splenda over all of them.
Fry them for about 5 minutes or until they turn brown and slightly crisp on the bottom then turn them over for another 3 minutes. Sprinkle the seasoning salt over all of them. Be careful with the Everglades Seasoning as it's quite salty. When both sides have browned lightly serve and enjoy the fun.
